Victoria Community School
Description
Victoria Community School is an all girl school for pregnant and parenting teens in San Diego, California. Educational plans are developed for each student and the classes assigned match the student's credit standing. The educational program is a combination of taught classes, projects, guest instructors, and book work. Due to the individual plan and a student's motivation, some classes may be completed in as little as one month.
Additionally, Victoria Community School works closely with three other agencies: CAL-SAFE who is our on-site daycare provider; the San Diego Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting (SANDAPP) who provides support, resources and classes for our students; and IMPACT, who teaches classes on healty relationships and personal development.
At Victoria Community School, our main goal is to provide an up-to-date educational experience while utilizing computer applications that will prepare our students for university or the workplace. All this, while our students have peace of mind that their children are being well cared for close by.
